FAQ
Do I need a wallet?
Yes. You need a wallet to place predictions and participate in Outrace races. You can explore markets, leaderboards and rules without connecting one.
What is a Race Entry?
A Race Entry combines one prediction, one horse and any Boost Cards you choose. It starts only when your prediction order is fully filled. If the order isn’t filled, you don’t spend Hay, cards or a daily race.
Where are my trading funds stored?
Your trading funds and positions remain with the prediction market provider you choose. Outrace keeps your horses, cards and game rewards separate from your trading funds.
What happens if my prediction loses?
You can still earn game points. Shield Cards can protect some of those points, but they do not refund a financial loss.
What are Hay and tickets?
Each horse’s first race of the day is free. Hay is used for additional races. Tickets give you chances to win rewards in daily draws.
When can I mint a Genesis Horse Pack?
The mint date will be announced soon. Each Genesis Horse Pack contains either an Epic Contender or a Pure Legend.
Do Boost Cards expire when a season ends?
No. Cards you own remain usable in future seasons. Cards equipped for a Race Entry are spent when that entry starts.
Are horses and cards NFTs?
Yes. Horses and Boost Cards are NFTs held in your game wallet. Every new player receives a free Common Runner.
What happens if a market is cancelled?
The Race Entry earns no points. Your equipped cards and the Hay spent on that entry are returned, but the horse’s daily race remains used. Any financial refund is handled by the prediction market provider.
